Deleting your account

Last updated October 14, 2026

Háblalo, the language-learning app by Wiktor Piotr Pawlikowski, deletes your account and its data whenever you ask, in the app or without it.

In the app or on the website

Sign in, open Settings and choose “Delete account”. Type the word it asks for and confirm. The account and its data are deleted at once and you are signed out.

Without the app

Write to wiktor@hablalo.io from the e-mail address of the account and ask for the account to be deleted. We delete it within one month, usually within a few days, and confirm by e-mail.

What is deleted

  • your profile, e-mail address and password;
  • lessons, progress, reviews, streaks and word lists;
  • chats with the assistant and its memory of you;
  • practice answers, writing, mistakes and private stories;
  • your avatar and every signed-in session.

What stays, without your name

The cost record of your AI requests (without their content), the dictionary entries your lookups created for everyone, and the reports you sent stay with nothing linking them to you. Backups hold a copy of the database for up to 30 days, so deleted data leaves them within that time. Polar keeps payment records for as long as tax law requires.

A plan that still renews

Deleting the account ends it at Polar at once, so it stops charging you. If Polar cannot end it right then, the app says so and asks you to cancel the plan on the Subscription page first. The Privacy Policy describes the rest of what happens to your data.
